SCIENCE OF HYGIENE, POINTS LOCATIONS, ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY & PRACTICAL WORKSHOP

In the HijamaLife® Standard Course, training will be provided to student in order for them to practice Hijama (Cupping therapy). The course will consist of, the science of hygiene, points locations, anatomy, physiology and practical workshop.

Students will learn all about Hijama and the six points on the body where hijama is most effective; how to performing hijama on these six points and thereby cleaning the entire cardiovascular system.

Before performing hijama, the target area is disinfected and a cup (made of metal, glass or plastic) is placed on the area of the skin creating a seal. Vacuum pumps are used to draw out air to seal the cups.

In addition, we also teach Fire Cupping, Wet Cupping, Hot Cupping, and Oil Cupping in this course.

Standard Certified Hijama Course

MODULE I

1st Weekend: Saturday Morning: 10am-1pm

  • Introduction of Hijama and types of Hijama
  • History of Hijama
  • Equipment and premises requirements
  • Hygiene and Waste disposal

Salaat / Lunch Break: 1pm-2pm

Afternoon: 2pm to 5pm:

  • Points location and benefits
    – Pulse and Tongue Diagnosis

Sunday Timetable: Morning 10am-1pm

  • Safety procedures in the clinical environment
  • Preparing for treatments

MODULE II

  • Introduction on safety and hygiene
  • Introduction to incision and pricking techniques

  • Islamic medicine, Dua’s and Quranic verses
  • Introduction to General Hadith (Prophetic tradition)
  • Treating patients with disease such as haemophilia, diabetes and anaemia.
  • How to deal with fainting

3rd Weekend

  • Doing Hijama when fasting
  • Registering with local councils
  • Starting your own practice

MODULE IV

Anatomy and Physiology

  • The Human skeleton
  • Blood production in the body
  • Hijama and limits regarding blood extraction
  • Hijama vs. donating blood
  • Muscle types and Hijama
  • Breathing, sweating and removal of body wastes

Learning Outcomes: Student will learn about the organs of the human body and relating them to Hijama. They will know the functions of the blood and blood production in the body. Likewise students will know blood types, blood cell count and the limits regarding blood extraction. Students will know the body systems and its relation to Hijama. They will know how Hijama detoxifies the body.

This module is delivered online by our affiliated college (all fees paid by us).

This module is normally completed within 3 to 12 months. There is no time limit restrictions and you can study at your own pace. You can also seek help from our affiliated college or your family and friends. Final examination is also online. No physical attendance is required.

You will also receive a Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy and Physiology.
